Located in the regional centre of Tampines, this underground MRT station is an interchange with the Bus Interchange and existing over-ground East-West Line Station. The DTL station exemplifies principles of people-centric transit balanced against cost/value efficiency.

The architecture celebrates movement & transition through interconnectivity, spatial volume, asymmetry, colour & super-graphics. The clarity of spaces are unencumbered and easy to navigate, engendering intuitive way-finding, identity & sense of place.

Basement 1 is dedicated to entrance routes, retail and future development connectivity. The station structure accommodates future development loading above the station box. The entrances and service structures are designed and configured to enable full future development integration.
