Rail Corridor
Singapore
2015
The Rail-Corridor is the revitalisation of the dis-used Singapore-Malaysia railway which has since been re-possessed by nature and the public as a nature trail.
The corridor has the potential to become a unique gift to Singapore and a lasting legacy for generations to come, connecting communities through an unprecedented way.
Along with the consideration of bio-diversity, accessibility, and appropriate implementation of landscape elements, our team proposed concepts reinforcing the identity of the corridor through its edges, portals, special nodes, historical references, artwork, lighting, paving material, street furniture and signage.
