In this century, the planet has to redress the consequences brought about in the last century by industrialisation, wasteful consumption and technology misuse. Global warming, pollution and resource depletion is to some extent irreversible, but mitigation is an ineluctable responsibility to ensure the survival of life on this planet.

GreenhilLi is committed to environmental sustainability. Apart from being intrinsic with our architecture, we actively pursue a green policy within our workplace and lifestyles. Designing green buildings is only part of the solution; how we use them is also fundamental. Attune to this policy is our commitment to transit design and building conservation as demonstrated in our body of work.

In our projects, we collaborate with specialist consultants to explore cleaner energy alternatives and environmental control, minimize energy/resource consumption and waste, and reduce life cycle cost for buildings. We also use environmental modelling software to assist with key design decisions at the front-end.

In our studio, we adopt energy saving and material recycling measures, and use available environmentally friendly alternative materials. We also use public transport systems to travel whenever possible and available.
